Our Values

The Leverhulme Legacy

William Lever, his son the 2nd Viscount and his grandson the 3rd Viscount left behind a profound legacy on the Wirral, including hundreds of homes, important civic and community buildings, and public open spaces.

Today, as Trustees of the Estate working closely with the family, we seek to help Wirral build a sustainable future.  Through careful investment across the Estate we believe we can play our part in preserving Wirral’s heritage whilst making our contribution to meet the growing needs and expectations of its residents, guided by key values:

Accessibility

The Estate Office is located in Thornton Hough, at the heart of the Estate, and you are always welcome to drop by with any queries.

Community

We seek to build strong, supportive relationships with Estate tenants, Wirral residents, community groups, local and national government.

Diversity

We seek to play our part in helping Wirral to thrive in diverse ways, delivering social, economic and cultural prosperity on the peninsula.

Responsibility

Much of the Estate is farmed and we seek to enhance this land for the benefit of future generations.

Sustainability

We manage the Estate for the long-term: we understand our actions not only affect the Estate, but the wider community.
